SIRI Research Foundation is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, ethical publishing, transparency, and responsible scholarly communication.
The Foundation expects authors, editors, reviewers, and other participants in the publishing process to adhere to accepted principles of research and publication ethics.
Authors
Authors are expected to:
- Submit original scholarly work.
- Properly acknowledge and cite sources.
- Avoid plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and other forms of academic misconduct.
- Ensure that the submitted work is not simultaneously under consideration elsewhere where such submission would constitute duplicate publication.
- Obtain appropriate permissions for copyrighted material where required.
- Disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
- Ensure that authorship is appropriately attributed.
Editors
Editors are expected to:
- Evaluate submissions fairly and objectively.
- Maintain confidentiality during the editorial and peer-review process.
- Select reviewers on the basis of appropriate scholarly expertise.
- Manage conflicts of interest responsibly.
- Make publication decisions on academic and editorial grounds.
Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to:
- Provide objective and constructive evaluations.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Identify relevant published work where appropriate.
- Disclose conflicts of interest.
- Decline review assignments where they lack appropriate expertise or have a conflict of interest.
Academic Misconduct
Concerns relating to plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, authorship disputes, or other forms of misconduct may be investigated by the Foundation.
Where necessary, appropriate corrective action may include correction, withdrawal, retraction, or other measures depending on the nature and seriousness of the matter.
